| So I have noticed recently that the number of civilian deaths in Iraq due to terrorism has in fact gone down, and so has the number of military deaths also. However, I have also noticed that Iraq is starting to no longer get front page news. The country is finally stabalizing and our media isn't reporting it. Whether this is due to left-wing bias, or the fact that violence sells, either way, it is definitely something that should be reported more in the news. So I guess we can say the surge worked, despite everyone saying it wasn't going to. Also, it appears we aren't going to be going to war with Iran just yet, of course the ability of leadership on either side of the coin to do something stupid is still there, so don't hold your breath. |
